-Can a Family Member travel with the patient?
In most cases, 1-3 additional family members may travel with the patient at no additional charge. It depends on the size of the aircraft and the number of medical personnel required.

-How much notice is needed to arrange an air ambulance?
It all depends on the availability. It is best to give as much time as possible.

-How are payment arrangements made?
Payment is secured prior to departure. AmbuStat Air Ambulance accepts bank wires, cashier's checks, Discover, AMEX, Visa and MasterCard.

-How much luggage can the patient and family bring on the aircraft?
Luggage must be kept to a minimum. Most of the available space on the aircraft is filled with medical equipment/supplies.

-How does the patient get from the hospital to the airport? In most cases, AmbuStat Air Ambulance will arrange the ground ambulance to transport the patient on both ends. This way, the aircraft and ambulance are scheduled to meet each other at the appropriate times.
